We have arrived....

...at the stage where the girls can FINALLY play together without me in the room! Haleluliah!  Since the moment I found out that Sutton was a girl, I have longed for this day.  During each stage that has been hard, I remind myself that no stage lasts forever and oneday they will be able to play together, on there own.  And here we are :)
Now, sometimes (more that I would prefer) I have to step in and be a mediator but overall, they seem to share and treat each other gently.  Often, its Betsy Grace who gets into trouble for being bossy.  She knows it and she doesn't care.  This big sis wants to make sure that Sutton knows who's boss.  Sutton looks to her big sister with such adoration, I sort of feel sorry for her :(  Gotta teach her to stand up for herself because those of you who know BG, know that she is going to find a way to get what she wants.  Master manipulator, master persuader, Master Negotiator...where there's a will, there's a way!

Playing Dress Up

The other morning, sutton was sleeping (due to lack of sleep the night before) and Betsy Grace was helping me get dressed.  She LOVES to go through my drawers and pick out things to put over her head and wear (remember the Bra Stage).  So I decided to meet her desire and we transformed her to look "just like mommy".  One of her best friends at the Y wear pigtails every day and Betsy Grace is a huge admirer of the hair style.  She was very proud of her look and would have worn it all day if I had let her :)

And when she is not dressing up herself, she is dressing up her dolls.  She even has a set of foam ones for the bath.
Here we have a "casual" look and a "Fancy" Look but notice that the Casual one still has a princess tiara...even in sweats, you still need a little "Fancy"!

Love my creative little girl!

We're still here

Have no fear, we are still here!  I know it's been WAY TOO LONG but ever since sutton has become mobile, I have no time to sit at the computer.  The girls do nap at the same time in the afternoon but blogging seems to take a back seat to other household chores.  There is no way that I can play catch up, so i am just going to pick up here but not without a few phone pics from the last month.

We didn't get to see my mom on Mother's Day, so Lou Lou and I treated all the girls to a lunch  for a post-Mother's Day Celebration.  Betsy Grace polished off an adult sized quesadilla, while Sutton nibbled on crackers.  My girls have VERY different eating habits :)

these 3 loves of my life made my Mother's Day very special, my heart is beyond full with Love, I am one lucky girl!

Mommy's little Shopping Helpers

And yes, this cute thing is the reason for my lack of posts.  she is all over the place and she is fast!  Between the 2 of them I am exhausted by the end of the day but they are at such a fun stage, I wouldn't trade it.

Miss Social has been on the birthday Party Train over the past couple of months.  We've been to ballet Princess Parties, Art Parties, Superhero Parties, you name it.  And while sometimes she would just rather stand back and observe, she loves every minute....and the sweet anticipation of Cake!

And what's a good ol' Saturday without a trip to Auto Bell :)
It's a family affair

Normally it's Sutton who wants to be just Like Betsy Grace but on this particular morning, Big Sis wanted to be like her Little Sis...funny little girls

I promise it wont be as long before I post again!
