This week

This has been a typical week in February, blah winter! We are so ready for Spring, warmer and longer days...please get here soon! Mac was out of town last weekend, so the girls and I were very low key and spent lots of time in our pjs :)
Sutton has been waking up really early, so we have been trying to put her in our bed in hopes of her falling back asleep. Its a win win situtation. We both get more sleep and I get precious snuggle time with my sweet little bear. This particular morning, she slept til 8:00 am!

Betsy Grace is not sleeping in her big girl bed, she still LOVES her crib but during the day, she can be found playing right here...

getting cozy, reading :)

Thursday afternoons are really special because Beece and GG come to visit.

and here's a little photo shoot from an early morning...Sweet little love!
She's lucky that she is so cute...these early mornings might not be so delightful :) My tired eyes are instantly transformed with one look at this face, those eyes turn me to mush!

Valentines Dance

We were SO EXCITED yesterday because it was the day of the Valentine's Dance at school! We took the opportunity to have a little photo shoot before we left the house...

Love bugs dressed in pink

Happy, happy girls

hmmmmm...should I hug or kiss her???

BIG HUG!
Sutton is now wants to be part of the party, so the days of chillin in the infant seat are no longer. Therefore, we had our hands full with two girls at the party and did not bring our camera, which I seriously regret today because it was a sight to see! The dance floor was full of sugar crazed children, shaking their bootys. There was a DJ playing top 40 hits, no baby songs for this crowd and everyone was fascinated with the strobe lights. Betsy Grace and her friends had a blast and by the end of the night she was dancing on the stage, feeding the fish (a new dance that we have been practicing). HILARIOUS. I swear that our toddler is turning into a little girl right before our eyes and I want it to stop, why can't they stay this way forever?!?!

The Bear is 7 months

Sutton Bear is now 7 months old and she continues to be the sweetest, easy and loving baby we know. And just happens to have the most kissable cheeks that I can't seem to get enough of :)

Here are the highlights and recent accomplishments:
-she has 2 teeth
-she is sitting up
-she puts EVERYTHING in her mouth
-she is outgrowing her chronic spit up and now is a fountain of drool
-she is obsessed with her sister and the feeling is mutual
-she is very ticklish and is a giggle box...no one can make her laugh like Betsy Grace can
-she is content pretty much anywhere but loves the exersaucer and just playing on the floor
-she is eating food, her favorites are sweet potatoes, bananas and pears
-she naps on the go in the morning but takes a consistent afternoon nap, extra bonus when both girls sleep at the same time!
-she is babbling up a storm, favorite thing to say is "dada"

We are so blessed by our little love!

"Fancy" (just like Fancy Nancy)

Currently, Fancy Nancy is our obsession. These books are BG's precious possessions and if we aren't reading them to her, she is reading them herself or reading them to her sister...another fancy lady in training :) If you are not familiar with Fancy Nancy, the short of the long is she is a little girl who LOVES to dress up and use fancy words...and we want to be just like her!

We try on mommy's shoes

and are so proud of ourselves!
And this is how we watch Carolina basketball games

A pink hairbow, a Banners to the Dome Tshirt (look up Banners to the Dome on YouTube),
a tutu and pink NewB's :)
And she is a mighty fan....yelling TAR....HEELS!
Daddy is so proud :)
