A little R&R in BR

We went to Blowing Rock this weekend with the Cowdens to escape the heat and get some much needed R&R. We had a blast and despite the rain, found plenty to keep the girls occupied.

This is the start of our walk...REAL, LIVE HORSES!!!!

His name was "Dude" and the girls were in awe.

Climbing down the hill to the lake.

The lake was beautiful and looked just like a movie scene.

MB is such a big girl and finished up our walk, walking with her daddy.

Meanwhile, BG was snoozing in the stroller.

Winding down before naptime, these little girls LOVE books!

Bathtime is way more fun when you have a buddy with you!

Lots of splashing and making waves!!!

The forbidden stairs, they were a constant temptation all weekend :)
